The Summer of 2025 was a wonderful one for the kids at Zion Lutheran Church, Rahway. We partnered with Cross Roads Camp & Retreat Center to provide a unique experience for our youth where the staff from Cross Roads facilitated a Day Camp at our partner church, Calvary Lutheran Church, Cranford along with participants from 1st Presbyterian Church, Rahway.

Approximately 20 kids came together to hear how God is a God of surprises. We read about Abraham and Sara, Moses, Jesus and Jairus’ daughter during Bible Discovery Time. Each day began with worship and interactive songs and sing-a-longs. Afternoons were filled with games, crafts, and water games.

Snacks and lunches were provided by community members who made sure the kids ate well!
